Procedure for joining the Japan Sports Law Association
- First, please read the Regulations of the Japan Sports Law Association carefully.
- For admission, you shall be nominated by two members because Article 6 of the Regulations of the Japan Sports Law Association states that “Prospective members of JSLA shall require the nomination of two board members.”
- Please print out the “Application for membership of Japan Sports Law Association,” fill in the required information for the column of applicant and nominators, and send it to the secretariat of us by mail. If you do not have nominators, please write down the reason for not having nominators and your motivation for joining us on about 1 sheet of A4 paper (free format) and send it to us by mail along with the “Application for membership of Japan Sports Law Association,” which contains the required information.
- Board of directors is customarily held in January, April, July, September, October, and December. Please note that it may take a while to be approved, depending on the application time. Annual membership fees, etc., have changed since 2003. The amount is stated on the application form.
- Handling of membership information: The personal information you provide will not be provided to any outside individuals or organizations, except that it will be made public to the minimum necessary in the form of membership lists of this association.
- If you have been a member of us in the past and would like to rejoin, please contact the secretariat of us by fax or mail.
